Coronation Street legent Ann Kirkbride who played Deirdre Barlow has passed away aged 60!
The actress had been out of the soap for three months due to ‘personal reasons’ but early this morning the news was broke that she had passed away.
Thousands and thousands of people have flocked to socail networking site to share their thoughts on Ann’s death and lots of celebritys too.
Ann appeared in 1,439 episodes of the soap and was one of the most reconizable faces from the soap.
It was revealed in September that Kirkbride was to take an extended break from the soap.
The star was expected to be absent for three months and was due to make a return this month.
Lots of people are speculating on the cause of death but ITV spokesman said the actress’s family would not be commenting on her cause of death.
